The Jungle Book
Audition Information For Young Performers
Ages 8 – 13
This unique performing opportunity will have one young performer cast in the role of Mowgli and working alongside professional adults in The Jungle Book!
In order to participate, young performers must be able to miss some school for rehearsals and for a few performances in April, May and July.
Show Dates & Times:
April 17 – May 9, 2021
Saturdays at 2 p.m. & Sundays at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, 4/20 at 10 a.m.
Additional Weekday 10 a.m. Shows TBA
July 10 & 17 at 2 p.m.
July 25 & August 1 at 3 p.m.
Additional Weekday 10 a.m. Shows TBA
Rehearsals:
Performers must be available to rehearse on the following dates and times. Any conflicts with school must be cleared with their school by the performer and their parents prior to requesting an audition.
April 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
April 3: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
April 6, 8, 15: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Casting:
Mowgli – Looks age 8 – 12
Played by a Male or Female
Vocal Range: B flat – D
Must be shorter than 5’ tall
Auditions by Appointment ONLY before 3/20/21

PLEASE NOTE: You must be available for the ENTIRE rehearsal and performance schedule in order to audition. This show involves a large time commitment from both the actor and the parents. All young performers will be working with professionals and will be expected to be prompt, attentive and commit a great deal of time and energy to the show.
