Underneath the mauve and golden glow of stage lights, Tamerlan Guliyev, a 14-year-old student from Miami’s New World School of the Arts, dazzled the audience with a high-energy jazz performance to Barry Manilow’s “Dancin’ Fool” at the Young Talent Big Dreams competition.

When asked about his performance, Guliyev explained that it was a piece that he had been doing for a while. “It was my choice to do jazz, to do a Broadway style dance, because when I grow up I want to be on Broadway.”
