2026-2027 MAINSTAGE SEASON

Actors’ Playhouse Musical Miracles

Ages 10 & Older – By Audition Only

September 12, 2026 – May 15, 2027

(No Rehearsals during Miami-Dade County Schools’ Holiday breaks.)

Fee: $2000

This Outreach Repertory Performance Troupe under the direction of Theatre for Young Audience’s Director Earl Maulding will bring out the best in your Advanced Musical Theatre Performer. This group generally meets on Saturday afternoons for 2-6 hours from September 2026 – May 2027. Performers will experience Master Classes in voice, dance, character development, and musical theatre performance to name a few.  The 2026-27 group will perform a Musical Revue style show in the Fall of 2026 and a fully staged production of  FROZEN, Jr.  in March 2027. (Extra Rehearsal time TBA required for this performance.)

Volunteering at theatre events for Community Service Hours and an end of the year awards ceremony round out this unique and family-oriented group.

Auditions – 10am-12:30 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2026!

A Christmas Carol, the Musical

Show Dates:                      December 1-20, 2026

Show Times:                     Monday – Friday:                              9:00 am Call & 10-11:45 am Performances

Possible 12 pm weekday shows as well.

No Weekday Shows 12/9, 17, 18

Saturdays & Sundays:                 1 pm Call & 2-3:30 pm Shows

Saturdays:                                      6 pm Call & 7-8:30 pm Shows

Performances:               This Performance Schedule requires each actor to miss a partial day of school, 9 am-12 pm or 9 am-1:30  pm, 2 times a week from December 2-18, 2026. Exact dates TBA

Please clear any school conflicts prior to emailing for an audition appointment.

Rehearsals:                       Will be held after school, on weekends and any days off from school from November 1^st – 30^th ,2026.

PLEASE NOTE: There will NOT be rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day but there WILL be rehearsal during Miami Dade County Public School’s Thanksgiving break November 21^st – 29^th.

Casting:     All of the following parts may be double cast.

1. Tiny Tim (Male or Female-Soprano) – Looks age 6-8
2. Belinda (Female-2nd Soprano) – Looks age 12-15
3. Peter (Male or Female-Alto) – Looks age 9-12
4. Young Scrooge (Male or Female-Alto) – Looks age 9-12
5. Orphan Girl (Female-2nd Soprano) – Looks age 6-10
6. Assorted ensemble members – Ages 10-18
